Redenka Holiday Club is a vacation complex full of different types of facilities that can hardly be found someplace else: you can whether practice sports or just sit back and relax.
You can always use our spacious indoor swimming pool, 13 x 7, built right behind a huge window which is letting the sun rays in even during the coldest winter days. The Wellness Center offers: Jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath, massage procedures, fitness, solarium.
The lobby bar is in Redenka Palace. The outdoor swimming pool with a pool bar, kids’ area, poolside sunbeds and parasols is definitely a pleasant addition to your summer holiday in the mountain. Outdoor tennis court, which can also be used as a volleyball court and a big football field, 72 x 28, covered with a real grass are also at your disposal. From July 2009 a fishing lake, bred with trout fish will also be available for you. The fishing lake will be situated on the Byala River, which passes through the complex. Our guests will have the opportunity to catch their own fish and prepare their catch on the barbecue.
For seminars, team buildings or company events we can offer a small conference room, disposing of 25 seats, as well as an opportunity for a bigger conference room with 60 seats through a conversion of the lobby bar at Redenka Palace.

The village of Dobarsko is located some 17 km away from Razlog, on the southern slope of the holy Rila mountain. According to the local legend, the first inhabitants of the place were the soldiers from the army of Tsar Samuil, who were blinded by the Byzantine ruler Basil II after the battle at Kleidion (Belasitsa) in 1014. They were on their way to the Rila monastery but could not make it to there because of the fiercely cold weather. When they arrived in the region of Dobarsko, they were amazed by the healing powers of the water that sprang and still springs in the churchyard of St. Theodor Tyron & Theodor Stratiat, which cured their eyes. The legend continues, telling that the magic waters in the yard of the church had healed the eyes of another great Bulgarian man – St. Clement Ohridski. These interesting stories are depicted in the murals inside the church, the most amazing one being the mural of Jesus Christ in a space rocket. The church was built in 1614, and was restored in 1978. It figures on UNESCO’s world heritage list.
Bayuvi Dupki – Djindjiritsa Reserve
On October 24 the town of Razlog (Southwestern Bulgaria) celebrates its public holiday. Besides for the rich history, the region is known also for its breathtaking nature. The Bayuvi Dupki – Djindjiritsa is one of the Bulgaria’s oldest reserves (established in 1934). It is located close to the town of Razlog, in Pirin Mountain. The reserve was created to protect the two rare species of Macedonian pine and Bosnian Pine, as well as variety of animals. The reserve’s territory covers about 3000 hectares, and the altitude of Bayuvi Dupki – Djindjiritsa varies from 1200 to 2884 m. some 60 per cent of the area of the reserves is covered by woods. The legend tells that once the dense woods of Djindjiritsa were inhabited only by beasts, and the local men thought they were evil spirits, called genies. There were however wonderful meadows but the shepherds were afraid to take the sheep there. Finally one of the herdsmen ventured and let the herd on the meadow, and so the other men followed him. In a way to be sure they surrounded the meadow with chains (sindjir in Bulgarian), and it was called Sindjiritsa. Once wolves came and broke up the herd. A frightened shepherd ran down from the hill shouting “genie in Sindjiritsa”, and since then the district is called Djindjiritsa.
